"TAIWAN PATENT GO" to Make a Return Appearance at DG Taiwan and 360° MOBILITY Mega Shows in April 2025

"TAIWAN PATENT GO" will once again appear at the "Taiwan International Gift & Stationery Show (DG Taiwan)" from April 17 to 20, 2025, and the "360° MOBILITY Mega Shows – Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (TAIPEI AMPA) and E-Mobility Taiwan" from April 23 to 26. This year's exhibition brings together Taiwanese companies such as Shang Li Hsin to showcase nine award-winning patents. The event will feature salon-style talks and a dedicated exhibition zone, aiming to connect Taiwan’s outstanding patented innovations with global markets. The goal is to enhance Taiwan’s development and competitiveness in the field of intellectual property, realizing the vision of “Taiwan innovates, prosperity follows.”

To cultivate patent talent, the Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) has commissioned the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to implement the “Excellent Patent Promotion and Exhibition Counseling Project,” creating the "TAIWAN PATENT GO" brand. In 2024, the project showcased 36 patented products in a dedicated zone, with 14 of the participating companies receiving buyer inquiries. In 2025, the initiative aims to expand its impact, further driving commercialization of patented products and opening new business opportunities for Taiwanese innovations to reach global markets.

"TAIWAN PATENT GO" will officially debut at DG Taiwan, held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from April 17 to 20. Participating exhibitors include Shang Li Hsin, PanYu Tech Education, Ming Chi University of Technology, Carbon-Lite Era Sustainability Consultants, Fu Chia Cook, Wei He, Kuo Brain, Silicon Power, and Shu-Te University of Science and Technology. The nine award-winning patents cover products like multifunctional instant cookers, designer spice jars, automatic coffee brewing devices, military-grade waterproof and shockproof external hard drives, and personalized smart balance pillows. Each product combines patented technology with real market needs, making them ideal both as gifts and for personal use—showcasing Taiwan’s innovative strength in the gift industry.

Notably, a salon talk titled “Exploring Patent Fun and Discovering the Future of Gift & Stationery” will be held on April 17 on the main stage. A senior patent examiner from TIPO will join hands with exceptional inventors to dive into the applications and development process of patented technologies, helping audiences understand the value and appeal of patents.

TIPO also noted that in recent years, design patent applications have been led by the vehicle parts and components category. Therefore, "TAIWAN PATENT GO" will also enter the vehicle mobility sector this year. From April 23 to 26, patent consultation services will be available near the main stage at the 360° MOBILITY Mega Shows. Exhibitors with patented products will be highlighted on a “patent map” to help visitors easily locate and explore companies with unique technologies. This effort aims to build a patent protection network for Taiwan’s automotive and smart mobility industries and strengthen their international competitiveness.

In addition, a featured seminar titled “Patent-Led, Speed Ahead: Analysis of Key EV Components and Heat Dissipation Technologies” will take place on April 24 at the main stage. TIPO patent examiners will analyze key technologies such as battery cooling, motor cooling, and thermal management systems, offering insights into global patent trends and the direction of industrial applications. Related industry professionals are encouraged to register and participate actively.
