【Trademark】Electronic application must include the agent's registration number 2024/10/01

Starting from October 1, 2024, the trademark electronic application must include the agent's registration number.
 

  1. To facilitate the automatic verification of the agent’s qualifications by the electronic application system, from October 1, 2024, if the agent’s registration number is not provided in the trademark electronic application, the application cannot be submitted via the electronic system.
     

  2. If an agent qualifies but has not completed the registration or filing process, they may only apply through paper submission. The agent must later correct and complete the registration or filing procedure.
